About Us

As a family run restaurant, we serve traditional and modern Italian food using the finest ingredients in a relaxed and unhurried atmosphere. Apart from amazing food, we have an excellent wine list too.  What a great combination!

Owner Edward has many years of experience in the restaurant industry and is proud of the enthusiastic and regular feedback our diners have given us since our opening in September 2017. Many of them have since become regular visitors.

He says “consistent customer satisfaction is my top priority both in terms of the food we serve, and the level of service we provide. My team and I are committed to ensuring that we make our diners feel special and that they have a fantastic time while they’re with us”.

Head Chef Mark Wright

Mark hails from Upminster and has over 20 years experience. He was awarded a scholarship for the apprentice chef school at Sir Terence Conran’s prestigious Le Pont de la Tour in London and continued to perfect his art at many of London’s finest hotels and restaurants, as well as working in and running restaurants overseas where he cooked for the rich and famous.

Commenting on his role, Mark says “I’m excited to be back home in Upminster, and working with the whole team here to make ODA as successful as previous ventures.  I’m able to work with great ingredients and a talented kitchen team to serve the best possible food to our guests”.
